"A Tribute to U.S. Senator - John McCain"

Product Description
This pen features desert ironwood burl wood. This wood was selected as it is commonly found in Arizona. An Arizona wood was selected as John McCain was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona in 1982. This pen was crafted by an Arizona artist. Arizona Desert Ironwood was also selected as it is also the hardest wood grown in the united states. The hard wood is to signify that John McCain had to be very hard/strong to withstand the Vietnam prison camp. This pen features bamboo segmented throughout the length of the pen as Vietnam has had a impact throughout his life. The blue band is made from hand crushed Arizona Azurite precious stone. The color is blue to signify John’s time in the navy. The fittings are made from Rhodium which is a member of the platinum family.
This pen is available with a Schmidt® ceramic tipped smooth flowing rollerball or fountain point. The fountain pen features a top quality German-made two-tone nib with genuine iridium point for smooth writing and dependable ink flow. The fountain model will accept standard ink cartridges as well as ink reservoirs.
